In February 2011 I hopped in the recently rebuilt Ford Van and drove nearly 3000 miles to the 5th annual running of the King of the Hammers off road race in Johnson Valley California.  King of the Hammers is the largest 4×4 race of the year drawing spectators from around the globe.
