2007 KLR650 Dual Sport Clutch Cover removal and replacement.

While preparing to change my oil, a glance at my KLR650 clutch cover revealed that my clutch cover gasket was damaged.

This sucks! to remove the clutch cover I have to remove my crash bars, clutch cable, brake lever, drain the oil, drain the coolant and buy a couple new gaskets.

I found the clutch cover gasket on Ebay for $6.20 and the water pump gasket on Amazon for $6.49

After removing the clutch cover and washing it off I found a mystery rubber gasket in the bottom of the sink. I believe it’s the gasket that goes inside the case where the oil filter is located, but it’s a bit too big to fit as it should.
